Sunday
Little Girls

May I just say that I am amazed at how little girls play. For weeks now, Abigail has been playing with the same three little girls everyday. They play the SAME thing (Calico Critters) everyday. They play for hours. And they play in the SAME Location. Unless you have a house full of boys, you may not understand my comments. At age 10, the boys were in the trees, throwing balls over the roof, skating-boarding into the street, into all the tools (saws included), and building, building, BUILDING huge forts out of heavy boxes, duct tape and blankets. They even used 30 pound weights to anchor the blankets. (luckily I discovered this before someone was bonked in the head)
So can you guess that I pretty much LOVE having little girls in my older age. Excuse me, while I chase down a toddler.

Monday
Abigail Dresses Gigi

Everyday, I ask Abby to dress Gigi. Can you guess what she discovered in the closet this morning? By the way, if you didn't already know it, the ladybug is loved by China adoptive families because she is the good-luck symbol for the orphan.

Tuesday
Split Pea Soup

Come on, now. Isn't this the cutest thing you have ever seen. Did I mention how much I marvel at little girls?

We interrupt this blog to bring you an important announcement.

Did you think I am one of those mothers who doesn't fix her daughter's hair? Let's just clear things up right now! Pay attention. There might be a test.

Can I get a little sympathy?

Wednesday
Gigi!

We found Gigi sitting in my quiet time chair, wearing my reading glasses and studying my Beth Moore bible study. So cute!

Thursday
Rob's Birthday
Tyler made the cake all by himself!

Friday
Modern Day Knights Campout

The guys actually stole my camera for the scavenger hunt. I found some very interesting pictures on it this morning!
