Gigi has started to pick up many baby signs. So far she signs more, please, Daddy, Mommy, night-night, down, bottle and thank-you. She is quite please with this new ability to demand what she wants!
Abigail continues to be an excellent big sister. I am amazed at her love for Gigi and how quickly she has learned to diaper, dress and love a baby.
Hey Shannon..so I keep up with you guys and I notice what time you post...Do you ever sleep??? Gigi is a little doll and she looks happier each post you make. What a blessing she is - what a blessing all of our children all!!
ReplyDeleteKelly and Mallorie.....
Kelly
ReplyDeleteI think my blogger account has the wrong time or something. I usually post early, but not THAT early. It looks like it might be on California time. ???? Give Mallorie a big kiss and hug.
I love the picture of you and Rob by the tree and his hat makes him that much more mysterious!
ReplyDeleteSo glad GiGi is picking up more signs! Hang in there sweet one, you are doing a great job!!!
What a great week...hope everyone feels better soon. Your little one is such a doll...too cute!
ReplyDeleteThat is so great that Gigi is able to communicate by signing... that is always a huge step!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouragement this morning - I loved it!
ReplyDeleteOk, Gigi is just edible...but you knew that!
What an adorable little girl! I'll bet you feel completely blessed to be her mommy!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many happy pictures in this post, I don't know what to think...
ReplyDeleteBut, hey. Listen. I clicked over here earlier today because I was going to respond to your comment on my crazy food post. I read your "pouty" post. Why did you take it down????? I thought it was refreshingly REAL. I could have written parts of it myself, the feelings are so well-known to me. I totally think you SHOULD try to educate us all about the two types of Diabetes. And forget about stinky old Oprah!! It's scary how much power she has. Her and her wacky New Earth religion!! Just 'cause she says it doesn't make it so.
I am glad you said something to me about the sugar thing and about how my post made you feel. I WANT to know these things. I DON'T want my post to give you guilt, though. I am just angered by the food industry and felt the need to spout off a bit. You shouldn't feel the least bit guilty about trying to make the best of your son's new reality. I certainly don't think people eating too much sugar is what causes diabetes! The fact is, we live in a fallen world and people get sick. All the time.
You are right, though. The Maker's Diet is very similar to What the Bible Says About Healthy Living. In fact, the author of the first, Jordan Rubin, wrote the Forward for the reprinting of the second.
Please feel free to email me if you want to get anymore "pouts" off your chest...and don't feel right about posting them here. Seriously.
